CNET awards
The successful Scottish Police project, Police
Information Network for Scotland, has resulted in it becoming a
finalist for the award for "Public Sector Technology Project of the
Year".
Making a substantial difference to the way in which the police
officers go about their day to day duty, this eleviates the efforts
and decreases the time it takes to update and distribute new
information to the entire workforce as this was previously done
through sending out a CD.
Best Places to Work in IT awards
Auros has been recognised as one of the Best
Places to Work in IT for the category of 'IT Services
Suppliers'.
Organisers were said to be attracted to the
innovative ideas that the company used based on such simple
strategy, for example the news stand, the breakfast club, the
community garden and most of all by regarding its people as the
company's most important asset.
