Accreditation, Accreditation this time it's Education

The Immediacy Training Accreditation Programme has been set up to develop a network of training centres that will deliver a consistent standard of Immediacy training at a time and place that is convenient to customers anywhere in the UK.

Becoming an Immediacy Training Centre is by invitation only. Invited Partner organisations must send their trainers on exhaustive training accreditation programmes where they are assessed both for their Immediacy product knowledge and their training delivery skills. Only by meeting exacting standards in both areas will delegates receive accreditation to deliver courses. Following accreditation Immediacy will continue to track the performance of accredited trainers and ensure standard are maintained by monitoring the feedback provided by course attendees.

“Establishing a professional network of accredited Immediacy training partners is vital to ensure our customers derive the maximum value from their investment in Immediacy software,” says Philip Macdonald, partner programme manager at Immediacy. “Content management technology continues to evolve rapidly and by bringing training closer to our customers we are making it easier for developers and users to refresh their knowledge and fully exploit all of Immediacy’s rich functionality.”

Bristol-based Auros, currently the only Immediacy partner accredited to the highest status – Platinum, has undertaken more than 75 implementations of Immediacy-driven internet, extranet and ecommerce sites.

The company will use its substantial expertise to offer Immediacy customers a supportive and enthusiastic learning environment for their staff. “Auros aims to provide the highest standard of knowledge transfer to clients, understanding the importance in maintaining a fresh approach to the array of courses we offer. Our dedicated resources are committed to adding value to the learning experience by being both adaptive and responsive to client capabilities and are professional and prepared in their approach” says Auros Marketing Manager Chloe Neath.

Auros – The Platinum Accredited Immediacy Partner

Immediacy today announced that Auros, a strategic Immediacy implementation partner since 2003 with 75+ successful Immediacy Web Content Management System (WCMS) implementations to their credit, is the first partner to be accredited at Platinum level.  This status, the pinnacle of the Immediacy partner programme, confirms that a partner has excelled in the field of Immediacy WCMS implementation, achieving the highest levels of technology competence, repeatedly delivering demonstrable Return On Investment to Immediacy clients and maintaining a focused commitment across all Immediacy product lines.

In 2003, Auros went out to market to identify a CMS product that could provide a solid foundation for their client projects, which typically see Auros delivering public facing websites, transactional sites, corporate Intranets and Extranets for large corporate and public sector organisations.  After a lengthy process, Auros identified Immediacy as the preferential product.  This market research continues with Auros performing a full review of the market on an annual basis to ensure that they continue to offer clients the “best fit” product in all spheres of the market.

In 2005, having already established a considerable track record in delivering Immediacy projects, Auros was the first partner to be accredited with Gold status, both working with Immediacy to help shape the evolving partner accreditation programme and setting the standard in terms of attainment.

The announcement today that Auros has been awarded Platinum Partner status further reinforces an extremely well proven partnership between the two companies.  Auros’ relationship with Immediacy is based around a strategic partnership which allows clients to increase the benefits delivered by their web projects through a combination of Immediacy’s world class content management software, and Auros’ consultancy expertise, high quality visual design and customisation capability.

Auros stands out from the crowd not just for creative distinction and technical excellence, but also for depth of experience within its outstanding team.  Evidenced by zero staff attrition in the past 3 years and fantastic client feedback, this key attribute was recently further reinforced when Auros was short listed by Computer Weekly for “Best Places to Work in IT 2008”.

Matt Goode, Immediacy Marketing Director commented:

“Immediacy Platinum Partner status was conceived to recognise the very highest level of achievement within our partner community and particularly singles out partners who have significant depth of experience in implementing and supporting the Immediacy product set.  This Platinum Accreditation recognises Auros’ commitment across all product lines and the substantial volume of highly successful Immediacy projects that they have delivered.”

To date Auros has implemented over 75 Immediacy sites, delivering to more than 20 countries in over 25 languages.  These include a Corporate Intranet for Virgin Megastores (now the Zavvi Entertainment Group), the Police Information Net for Scotland; a Scottish Police wide Extranet, nine multi-lingual websites for the global building materials giant Knauf, the Scott Wilson Plc corporate website and country specific websites and a fully transactional site for GWE Business West, the regional Business Link organisation.  Auros is also experienced at inheriting Immediacy projects mid lifecycle, including a flash driven site for Transform Medical and various local government websites.

As well as endorsing the complete Immediacy WCMS product set, Auros has completed extensive integration with a number of 3rd party systems including finance, CRM and ERP.  As an Accredited Immediacy Training Centre, Auros delivers a significant proportion of Immediacy client training both in the UK, Europe and the USA.  With dedicated, permanent training resources educating clients on the Immediacy products, Auros is able to offer both the standard Immediacy training modules and tailored knowledge transfer based on extensive practical implementation experience to ensure that individual learning needs are addressed.

Chloe Neath, Auros Marketing Manager comments:

“Being accredited as a Immediacy Platinum Partner recognises the extensive Immediacy track record developed by the Auros team and our commitment as a company to the Immediacy product set.  We are delighted that Auros continues to set the standard in the WCMS implementation marketplace.”
