We selected Auros following a competitive
pitch process across a number of different Agencies. We decided to
partner with Auros due to their deep understanding of the business
challenges we faced. Auros has worked with us to create a superb
new Web presence that supports not only our main .com site, but 10
territory websites for all our offices globally.
At the beginning of the project, we worked in partnership with
Auros to translate our high level aspirations for the new sites
into a comprehensive blueprint for subsequent design and
development. From the outset Auros explained that this was the
most important aspect of the project, and they weren't wrong!
Starting the design and build process with an unequivocal
understanding of how the sites were going to function from a user
perspective was invaluable and prevented awkward discussions around
agreed deliverables later in the project cycle. Auros' business
analysts were great at distilling ideas and concepts into detailed
requirements and deliverables.
A principal challenge we faced was how to centrally manage
content across 10 disparate global sites with differing end user
requirements from our UK head office. The underlying Web
Content Management System (Alterian Content Manager) has provided
us with a centralised repository for all global web content that
allows us to repurpose and re-use content seamlessly across
different territories.
Auros acted as prime contractor on the project, which involved
stakeholders both from IML; dispersed across the world, but also
from a number of different agencies responsible for different
project elements such as design and search engine optimisation.
