Impey Showers
Umbraco based website delivering desktop and mobile content for the UK's leading wetroom specialist
Project goals
-
Bring together two business areas under a single website in a way that would make sense to customers of both.
-
Create a mobile version of the site for use by plumbers and other bathroom installers searching for information whilst working.

How we did it
-
Workshops and collaboration - Discussing the aims of the site, who would be using it, and why. Working through our well-proven UX analysis process we looked in depth at the known user groups and their likely behaviour, generating user-journeys to explain how users would traverse the site.
-
Simplification- Our UX goal was not to reduce the number of clicks that it takes to get to a given page, but instead to make each click very obvious and straightforward. This meant ensuring that the signposting to either more information or to popular site functions was always very clear, and that the user was given a logical journey down the page.
-
Bold, clear graphic design - The design was a key part of the solution, making a very deep site simple to use. The visual design was influenced by some of Impey's more recent printed marketing materials, as well as direct input from the client, but took its strongest lead directly from the UX design.
-
Mobile - We put together a solution to redirect users to a mobile view of the site serving the same content to a smaller viewport while maintaining the
Client profile
