Training: This course focuses on the user administration
and user management which will facilitate the control of websites
by the website administrators. Topics include the creation of
users and the distribution of user permissions, Active Directory
(AD) import, website creation, the archiving facilities of
Immediacy, webpage metadata, and site membership and website
configuration settings.

Who Should Attend?
This course is suited for
those who will be maintaining and managing Immediacy CMS
websites. The aim of the course is to allow web
administrators to be familiar with the facilities and tools
available within the CMS in order to effectively and efficiently
manage and maintain Immediacy websites.
Course Prerequisites
Delegates should have a
basic understanding of the Editor Application and the
Manager Application (i.e. Standard Editor and Advanced
Editor courses). Basic knowledge of databases, networks and
Active Directory will be useful.
Aims and Objectives
At the end of this course, delegates will have
knowledge of:
- Creating Immediacy Users by utilising the LDAP (Active
Directory) Import
- Creating Immediacy Users without LDAP
- Individual permissions
- Group permissions
- How to create and manage approval workflow within
Immediacy
- Creating, starting and stopping scheduled tasks
- The editing of Immediacy Management Configuration
(IMC) files
- The standard reports within the Immediacy Management
Application.
- Site Membership for page authentication, etc.
- The management of the Image Library
- The administration of the Editor Configurations
- The organisation of automated e-mails
- The creation and management of friendly URLs.

the delegates an insight into the fundamental tasks associated with
the management of an Immediacy website and the
Immediacy CMS.
