EPiServer itself is a thoroughly documented .NET web application which can be extended to add to additional functionality. This is one of the products strengths which make it a prime candidate where there is integration with any back end systems that needs to be undertaken.

EPiServer Connect for Sharepoint

This connector enables you to easily surface document libraries within Sharepoint in your EPiServer website, particularly useful for company intranets.

You can also set up publishing channels within the CMS so that Sharepoint content is automatically published into the website, content created in a single area available on multiple sites.
